The Ortegas -- Sunday

After NBC passed, not only did FOX pick up "The Ortegas,"
it's giving this comedy, variety and improvisational tale
of a talk show broadcast from the host's backyard the plum
"Simpsons" lead-out time period. Considering the
success former occupants "King of the Hill," "That
'70s Show" and "Malcolm in the Middle" had
in this half-hour, if the emphasis on "The Ortegas" is the kooky family and not just the guest stars (like Denise
Richards in the pilot) FOX could have something here.
