The Handler - Friday 10:00 p.m.

Trading his mob connection on "The Sopranos" (he did lose his head, after all) for a career in the FBI, Joe Pantoliano plays Joe Renato, an FBI agent who trains and handles agents who go undercover. Although seeing "Joey Pants" turn good could take some getting used to, now that NBC's "Law & Order: SVU" is moving out of the time period, "The Handler" could be the sleeper hit next season. As good as "SVU" replacement "Boomtown" is, the audience size is limited. And if it comes to choosing Pantoliano over ABC's Barbara Walters, it's Joey Pants hands down.
