Proof positive that bad sitcom actors never seem to go away
is the return of former "Veronica's Closet" co-star
Dan Cortese in "Rock Me Baby." Playing a hip, flagrant
shock jock a la Howard Stern who needs to grow up after he becomes
a parent only sounds like it will work if Howard Stern is in
the role. Viewers looking for comedy Tuesday at 9:00 p.m. are
likely to stick with ABC's "According To Jim" or NBC's
"Frasier." Assuming lead-out "The Mullets"
attracts some curiosity seekers, don't be too surprised if "Rock
Me Baby" is the lowest rated show of the fall season. |
